Before the 2024 Season, the Wild lost a key player that was often assigned high level gymnastics elements. The Wild needed someone to step up and learn this element just weeks before the first match. This Grid League power couple met the challenge. They learned from scratch together and ended up pulling the Wild through well enough to win both of their echos featuring this element. They would go on to win the Championship and in large part due to the stepping up of these two in key gymnastics based elements. We call this element the aerial, although what Tyler is performing is not a true aerial. It does meet the standards set forth for the element and a true aerial is the fastest way to meet the standard if the player is capable. Will the Wild have them on the aerial element again coming up this coming weekend in Dallas? Or will some rookies take over on it? Ways to watch are listed at the link in bio.

Hey friends :) I have seen the comments “I liked your content better before you got into politics.” And I want to respond, I get it. The world is heavy right now, and sometimes we come to social media hoping to escape it. I understand why you may only enjoy the content of fun facts, uplifting stories, or lighthearted posts from the hospital or my training. But here’s the thing: politics isn’t something I “got into.” It’s something that already IS in medicine……. in every patient encounter, every prescription denied by insurance, every family struggling to access care. When a child can’t get their insulin… When a mom skips her own cancer treatment because she can’t afford childcare… When mental health resources are slashed in underserved communities… That’s not “politics” in the abstract…..that’s my job. That’s our patients lives. So when I speak up, it’s not because I want to be divisive or cause conflict in the comments. It’s because I am doing my job as a physician. Because I became a doctor to care for people, and that means not just inside the hospital, but also outside of it…… where policy shapes the reality of health. Now, if that’s not what you’re here for, I truly understand. But this isn’t an airport. You don’t have to announce your departure. You’re welcome here, and you’re welcome to quietly step away too. No hard feelings. But I’ll keep using my voice for the people who often don’t get one. And if that makes my page feel different than it used to… maybe that’s okay. Because sometimes doing the right thing doesn’t feel comfortable. But it’s still worth doing. Thanks for listening.
