Good morning from Disneyland!! Disney CEO Bob Iger ringing the NYSE Opening Bell from Disneyland, joined by Lynn Martin, President of NYSE Group. There are different opening bell ringings every business day Monday through Friday at 9:30 AM ET. Since this ringing is happening in time for the East Coast opening of the exchange, the actual bell ringing will take place at 6:30 am PT, before the theme park opens to guests. #disneyland

New Disneyland small world addition. Disneyland has added the “Last Verse” to “it’s a small world”. Disney Legends Richard Sherman and Robert Sherman were the original writers of the “it's a small world” song for the original attraction. Before Richard Sherman passed away last year, he wrote a new lyric for the song and shared it with Disney CEO Bob Iger. This is that new lyric now in the finale of the ride. Here’s the lyric - “Mother Earth unites us in heart and mind / and the love we give makes us human kind / Through our vast wondrous land / when we stand hand in hand / it's a small world after all.” #disneyland

Vice President JD Vance seen in Disneyland today getting off Big Thunder Mountain. A friend of Mickey Visit, who shared this clip, estimated about 50 security people and Disney employees with VP Vance. He appears to be with his family and on vacation. Dozens of protestors were reportedly seen at the Disneyland Drive and Katella corner last night. The Disneyland Drive street is reportedly closed. A friend of Mickey Visit is staying at Disney’s Grand Californian and described the security in the hotel as intense with a car check in, security dogs, complete bag search and metal detectors. 🚨Heads up!! Radiator Springs Racers will be temporarily closing for standard refurbishment in a couple of months. The closure starts on August 18, just before the Disneyland Halloween celebration kicks off, and is expected to last a little over a month. During this time, there will be routine work done, like coating the tracks for racing. They will also be upgrading all of the show lighting to LED and making other audio, video, and network updates throughout the attraction.
