The Iranians weren’t expecting me to start speaking Farsi in this one 😂 Day 2 in Iran was pretty insane, from learning about the hyper inflation and currency crisis to seeing some of their incredible cultural heritage and even a mosque that had cathedrals in the tiles. Everyday in Iran 🇮🇷 has been vastly different from the day prior This is my 4th day exploring Iran and this time I am in the city of Yazd which has so much culture, life and excitement. I got addicted to those sweets from the bakery, they were some of the best sweets I think I have ever had. I normally never buy large quantities. The context about the Silent Temple: In Yazd, Iran, Zoroastrians traditionally placed bodies in the Silent Temple (Dakhma) to avoid contaminating sacred elements like earth, fire, and water, while allowing nature and scavenging birds to complete the cycle of life. Isfahan Iran 🇮🇷 is my favorite city I’ve visited so far in the country. There is much life and unique architecture like I’ve never seen before. The Naqsh-e Jahan Square is truly mesmerizing with how massive it is and the amount of things encompassed inside of one area. From music gatherings underneath a bridge when the river dries up, to endless parks, shops and landmarks, this city really surprised me in so many ways. Tbh each city or destination has been so different from the last. Going to my favorite city in Iran today: Isfahan 🇮🇷 Only spending one night with the Mesr Desert legend aka Abas @abas.mohammadipour was way too short. I am definitely coming back again soon, but at least he sent out out of the desert with an incredibly strong coffee 🤣🤣 This trip has been a mix of many emotions. Heartwarming with all of the locals we have met, constant excitement with new landscapes and personalities, and of course, hilarious, with the amount of jokes all the Iranians I have met have made especially the legendary tour master @ehsan__dehghan1 It is time to see what the famous Isfahan is all about between today and tomorrow. We went deep inside the Iranian desert today… 🇮🇷 I think this was easily one of the best days of the whole trip because this desert was mesmerizing and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. And tbh…we kinda did, we didn’t see anyone else out there giving it this true feeling of being one with nature. Today we head toward Iran’s capital city 🇮🇷 The road from Isfahan up to Tehran has tons of cultural sides to experience with Abyaneh, the red village, being one of the most unique. This country is huge in terms of the amount of stuff there is to see. I have been reading as many of the comments comments as I can and trying to read as many DMs as I can with the extremely large influx of DMs from all of you out there offering me recommendations, a tour around your city, or just simply a welcoming message. Just know I really appreciate it greatly and that hospitality is making me want to already plan another trip to Iran since this trip is only 10 days long. Last day in Tehran, Iran 🇮🇷 A great final day exploring all over Tehran and seeing a few different sides to it. Although, I learned Tehran is huge so next time I’ll need a few more days to get into some of the more locals experiences! Seeing some of these top places in the city were an awesome first impression of the place. The time is coming to an end!
