Replying to @Eden Latoya Morrison 🍉 Making Easter Egg Bunny Houses! One of you specifically asked for this, and that was all the push I needed! A few tips for this: - I got the egg from @spotlightstores and I have also seen similar at other big box stores. I have also seen paper mache ones here and there, which would probably be easier to work with. - I used leftover fabric for this, cut into strips using my @fiskars rotary cutter. I have also seen people using patterned tissue paper or napkins to do this sort of thing which I think would be slightly easier to do? But wouldn’t have the same textured fabric effect. - I used a hinge from @bunnings for this, I would actually go a little larger next time or you could also use a piece of felt glued on like a hinge! Comment ‘bunny’ and I can send you the links to the things I used for this!
Making fridge magnet photo frames! Who else gets heaps of these junk mail magnets? Often they end up in the bin but they’re so good for crafts! I was thinking about better ways to show photos on the fridge and realised I could craft some using these magnets and fabric. I added embroidered bows and tulips (I just learnt this flower and now it’s my whole personality!) to make them extra special. I actually feel like these would be the perfect small mother’s day craft to make! If you want to make these and add the embroidery but don’t know where to start, you can find everything in my embroidery course! I feel like there are so many things they can be used for (big sorry to the plumber, electrician and jim’s mowing, they were to useful to leave as is!). #DIY #diyfridgemagnet #fridgemagnet #jumkmailfridgemagnet #diy
